But when I've got six of my friends with me, or when I've got an army with me, or when I've got a police force with me, or when I have a weapon with me, right? So I'm not powerful in and of myself, or I become more powerful. I made this in prison. He wasn't Muslim. He said, I made this in prison. And I want you to have it.

I said, Okay, thank you.

I went inside. So then I told I told you about it. And the brother that was with us, and it was Haytham, actually, so then they were like, give the guy like, $5 go back out there and give him $5. So I went back out, I gave him I said, No, I have to give this to you stuff like that. And he said, No, man, I can't take it. He said, I am drowning in the blessings of God.

I was like, What are you talking about? He's like, I just got out of prison. I spend the night under this bridge right here. The cops, they don't bother me. They know I keep the area clean. And I just got a job. I've been praying and praying and praying and I just got a job today to be a dishwasher. And I'm so excited about it. And he's basically saying hamdulillah like, I am so happy with my life right now.

And honestly, like Allahu Akbar,

this man is so excited. And he's so happy. He's living under a bridge.

But he's keeping it clean. And he doesn't he's not accepting any money. He's like, what do I want your money for? What I need your $5 for I'm absolutely content with what Allah has given me. And not only that, Allah has given me so much.

Right? So if you were to count the blessings of Allah, you wouldn't be able to count it. Look at what Allah says these two verses are similar to one another, almost identical. Okay. Listen to this. Allah says, Well, I talked to him in Colima, ultimo we're into dounia mata la isla de Souza in Santa Monica. He says he gave you from all that you asked him. And if you were to count the favor of Allah, you couldn't be able to count them. Indeed, mankind is voluminous level.

That person Allah says, if you were to count the blessings of God on you, you wouldn't be able to count them. Mankind has two characteristics. They are oppressive. They are ungrateful. This is a famous verse you've probably all of you have probably heard it from, from before. But this verse is actually mirrored by another verse. This verse happens twice. Well, what does the second verse say? Allah says, we're doing, Allahu Allah.

Allah says, if you were to count and try to enumerate the favours of a law, you wouldn't be able to count it and then a lot of talks about himself.

And Allah says, I know what you don't know. The prophets of the lightest and and he says about Allah.

Akbar, Allah, Allah, Allah, there is no one who is more patient with harm that he hears than Allah.

There is no one who is more patient with harm that he hears, then Allah as though he did it their own Allah who

see him we are super home, they ascribed to Allah a son.

And he continues to give them health, and he continues to give them well,

Oh, c'mon castle, the lightest and there is no one who can deal with that level of ingratitude. There is no one who can deal or is more patient with all of the blessings that he gives to his creator, creation, and then gives them general guidelines here, here's the gift of sight, here's the gift of hearing.

Use it for all that you want. But don't look at these particular things. Or don't listen to these particular things or avoid with your tongue, these particular statements, and then humanity turns around and says, but there's no fun in anything but these particular statements, and looking at these particular things, and listening to this particular whatever it is, in Alaska in Santa Lucia, for humanity is oppressive, and they are

ungrateful. Now, if a person were to count all of their blessings, we're talking about a lot as being a little hub.

Say a person is able to account for all of their breaths, their cells, and everything that takes place in them say they were able to encompass all of the meals that they've ever experienced and ever enjoyed. They ever ate. Maybe they were able to quantify concepts like family and friendship and love. They're able to quantify these things. How would you still be able to

quantify, quantify blessings that come in the form of harms that a lot as we did directed away from you?

Those are in the 1000s and the millions and the billions. Every single one of us,

every single one of us,

had we made different choices, or other people around us made different choices, our lives would be drastically different. Yes, you're stopping at a red light. But your safety depends on the person behind you looking up before they stopped texting, right? Or a person across from you deciding not to run that red, right or to not drink and drive and we are all at the mercy of everybody around us and their choices. And how many times there's no way for you to know really, how Allah azzawajal protects you in every single day from harm. And hence, remember even hotter below the line who when a calamity did strike him. He would say every time a calamity would strike me. I would be thankful

for four things. The first is that that calamity was not in my religion. It's a calamity in my health. It's a calamity in my wealth. It's a calamity with the roads. Anything else. As long as it's not in my Deen.

That's a good thing. That's a plus.

The second is that it wasn't greater.

I lost the child. I didn't lose them all. Could have been greater. I became sick. I could have had a worse sickness could have been greater that it wasn't

Greater the perspective that he has. The third is he says that

Islam, Rama, Buddha being that I am, I wasn't prevented from being

content with that

calamity. So Mr. de la who realizes that in that moment where he's able to be content with the calamity, that this is a great blessing from allies, that a lot granted him suffered, and that our law granted him law. And the forest is what is just so into it, that I hope to be rewarded for this calamity.

Have no claim is that sometimes Allah as we did desire is a place in paradise for a person.

But that person's actions aren't enough to bring him there. So Allah will then cast a calamity in the direction of that person. You know, Allah wants a person to have a certain level in Paradise, but you know what, they're not really big on fasting Mondays and Thursdays and three days a month and all of that they don't do that. And they don't pray more than they're for it. And they don't give more than theirs.

They're just not about extra worship, but along wants this person to be there. So how does that person get there? Allah sends a calamity their way, in their health or in their family or in their wealth. Not in their Deen because they need their Deen. But Allah azza wa jal test that person, and then He grants that person patience.

And through that patience, they ascend to the level that allows your desire for that person. Right. And so some of us, we arise in our rankings because of our patients because of our calamities. So I'm on the line says, I hope to be rewarded during these calamities, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam in a soda that's dedicated to him. The poor have

a right to

the poor have a right to our wealth. This is part of thankfulness to Allah azza wa jal, who gifts in bestows upon us, the week have a right regarding our strength, those who are unable have a right with regards to our ability, and those who have ignorance have a right towards our knowledge. And so out of my thankfulness to Allah,

I give everyone their right as best as I can. Everyone has a right regarding something that they can't do, and something that you can do. So being thankful for a lot as a gift for bestowing upon you what he didn't bestow on other people, and make it part of your thankfulness, that you direct a portion of what Allah has given you, to others. And remember that every blessing will eventually leave you, every blessing is going to eventually leave you either, it's going to leave you first, or eventually you're going to leave it but there's no blessing that stays with his partner forever. And

finally, with regards to Allah will have, and blessings, there are so many blessings that we never even think about.

And if any of our brothers or sisters who work in health, or they're their doctors, or nurses or physical therapists, or what have you, they were to sit there and tell us and talk to us about how our body functions and all of the things that are involved in US simply, you know, getting up and doing what we normally do every single day without thinking about it, we'd be amazed. And when you add to that the blessings of a family of, of relatives have passions of dreams of talents, of, of respect, even the respect that a person has the fact that when you go somewhere people you know want to shake your hand or they want to hear what you have to say. Or you know, they're kind to you, this

is all from the risk of Allah as diligent. So this is

what I wanted to share with regards to it will have

it's important that we reflect on the blessings that Allah bestows on us. And we reflect on our level of appreciation for the blessings that Allah has has given us. And that we remember that every blessing that Allah gives us there is a right that's associated with that blessing. So part of thankfulness is to simply say, and hamdulillah you know, the prophets of Allah

Sam says that a lot as we did, he loves that when a person eats or when they drink that they said hamdulillah that I just recognized that this food or drink, I'm not better than millions of people who are living on less than $1 a day. I'm not better than them in any single way that the only difference is that a lot put me in a position where I can spend $30 on a meal or $20 on a meal or $100 on a meal. And he made other people from his slaves we may prefer over us not be able to eat anything except for dates and water. Right or even less than that. So being thankful to Allah so yeah, so we conclude with that and I just want to give you guys a minute as well to think of a way

that you can make to Allah azza wa jal with regards to your life that involves the word Aloha, Aloha, the one who bestows what is something that you wish that you desire that you need to be bestowed upon you by Aloha.
