a sham. Today, it is known as modern day Syria and Lebanon and Jordan and Palestine, the area during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that collective area was known as a sham. And you will find many references, especially within the Sunnah. And within the lives of the companions, or the Allahu anhu, that speaks about this area, has the companions would travel there to make jihad, how they would go there to teach the people that are on how they would travel there to give that Allah for a very long period within our history, that area Sham, the capital of Damascus, was the capital of the Muslim Empire. And that book was taken from under his pillow, and he began to shine and glow with a light. And when he looked at that light to see in which direction it was going, it was going towards the land of a sham. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, Indeed, when the times of return and trial come, then you will find a man faith is in the land of a sham. You will find faith in the land of a sham. And all of these Hadith are authentic, you will find a man in this land of a sham. In another Hadith in Muslim Ummah, Muhammad, the Prophet

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to Bally Sham three times to ban a sham to ban a sham to banish sham. May they be blessing, a sham, a sham be honored and bless it. He said it three times. And so the companions asked our messenger of Allah, why is that? And so just from these few Hadith, and there are many more like this, you find that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke about Sham, he spoke about it being a blessing land. But you will also find within this hadith of our profits on Allah when Allah He will send them that there is mentioned a fitten of trials being there, and you will make mention of armies being there, and so on and so forth. And so even though it is a blessing land, just like every other land, it will go through trials, and the people there will go through trials.
