The final Juz of the Quran, often referred to as Juz Amma, comprises of the final 36 chapters of the Quran – al Naba, al Naziat, Abasa, al Takwir, al Infitar, al Mutafifin, al Inshiqaq, al Buruj, al Tariq, al ‘Ala, al Ghashiyah, al Fajr, al Balad, al Shams, al Layl, al Duha, al Sharh, al Tin, al Alaq, al Qadr, al Bayyinah, al Zalzalah, al Adiyat, al Qariah, al Takathur, al ‘Asr, al Humazah, al Fil, Quraysh, al Ma’un, al Kawthar, al Kafrun, al Nasr, al Masad, al Ikhlas, al Falaq, and al Nas.
Majority of the Surahs in this Juz were revealed in the Makkan period. They carry powerful messages to stay firm on the truth of the divinity of Allah. They are a mixture of warnings with vivid description of the Hell fire and in contrast, the scenic portrayal of Jannah with glad tidings for the believers.
