hamdu Lillah wa Salatu was Salam O Allah, Allahu Allah. So Allah Mohammed, why Allah Allah He was happy his main, my beloved mothers and sisters in Islam, we have just commenced Surah blockman. And the first letters that have started that particular surah show that the surah was revealed in Marketo mocha Rama. So these separated letters, none know the meaning of besides Allah subhanho wa Taala.

The surah has been named after a wise man who was according to the most correct opinion he was not a prophet of Allah subhanho wa Taala. But he was a very wise man granted knowledge and wisdom by Allah subhanahu wa Tada. It is also reported that he was a man from Africa from a place known as a nova, which is part of Sudan, or the northern part of Africa. So Allah makes mention of him. And this is a beautiful scenario because his advice to his child at a time of great difficulty was so valuable that it was worth mentioning in the Quran being recited up to the end of time. And this is the wisdom of Allah subhanho wa Taala. From this we learned that whenever we say something good to our

children, or whenever we are to good words or words of advice, Allah is mentioning us and that is in the hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, whoever mentions Allah, Allah mentions them. Whoever remembers Allah, Allah remembers them. Whoever speaks about Allah, Allah is speaking about them to a congregation far more superior than the congregation they are speaking to regarding Allah subhanho wa Taala. So right now, we hope and pray that Allah subhanho wa Taala is speaking about us to the angels. May Allah subhanho wa Taala blessings be upon us all. And may Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness and protect us from all evil. So Allah says tilka Ayatollah Kitab al Hakim, these

are verses of the wise book. The book full of wisdom is the Quran. So although look man was known as Look man, Al Hakim, which means Look, man, the Wise Allah says this book is the one that is full of wisdom. For those who are trying to memorize the Quran. Sometimes they don't know. When they say Alif Lam Meem

chilka to kitabi and then they are not sure whether it's mobian or whatever else it is. How would they know it is Al Hakim? Once you know it's not look man, you must know look man was al Hakim. So you say tilka to Kitab al Hakim. It's just a way of learning and memorizing especially for those who struggle a little bit with that. So tilka to Kitab al Hakim, these are the verses of the book The wise, the Wise book, the Koran full of wisdom. Allah says Buddha, it is also full of guidance.

And it is full of mercy the machine but for those who are doers of good, so it is full of mercy for those who do good you read the Quran, you understand the Quran, you put it into practice, you listen to it, you understand its wordings and so on. All this will be a means of guidance and mercy for those who do good. Are you a person who does good? Well, if you do good you will end the benefit from the Quran. If you do not do good then you do not earn the benefit of the Quran. In fact, the Quran becomes a witness against you or AI. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. The reason why we say this is because when the Quran tells you to, for example, fulfill your Salah and you

don't fulfill your Salah, the Quran bears witness that the message was delivered to your ears, but you refused. Just this morning I was thinking about how Allah will ask me questions. And Allah will say, I sent you a message, what did you do about it? And I'm going to have to say this is what I did about it. And the same applies to every one of us. Allah is going to ask you, I kept from amongst you people who recited verses and reminded you and I made sure that the reminder got to you, how did you respond to it? beings. But the whole test is to live these few seconds that we have left in this world in a positive way. And the nature of the next is that we will be united with them forever and ever. So do you want to just

lose the earth era by trying to achieve the temporary dunya in which you will still have to separate with your loved ones and you will still have to endure and go through health problems and never get whatever you want all the time and still lose the alpha. It's not worth it. May Allah protect us all. So Allah says this book is houda it means it's guidance. It is mercy for those who do good May we be from amongst them, protect yourselves from doing bad and you will achieve the true benefit of the Quran. Moments ago we heard a few verses

that are verses of goodness when you read this, you achieve that when you read that you achieve this. You know, we heard that a few moments ago. The truth is if we are if we are people who do not do good, we achieve nothing. We are hypocrites that's what it is hypocrite cannot achieve anything from the Quran. In fact they can achieve curse. Like the Quran says that the Hadith says Orinoco jetten laka Allah, Allah Allah Allah will be hidden kitabi acquirement whereby we'll be hearing through this Quran, Allah elevates certain people and through the same Quran he drops certain people

may Allah safeguard us and the other Hadith Allah says

this Quran shall bear witness for you or against you. Wow. When you have a witness for you, you're so happy in your court case. Imagine the person comes and says this person read me and started weeping Wow. Subhan Allah May Allah grant that to us not only weeping but we can we can then inshallah move towards the goodness there's no point in weeping and then creeping away Allahu Akbar, Allah protect us. This book is guidance, full of wisdom full of mercy for those who do good Who are those who do good. So Allah now explains he says alladhina up Muna Salah first quality they have to have those who establish their Salah if you have not established your Salah you are not from amongst those who do good you are trying perhaps the trial is not good enough. And what happened is, he would say, listen to this, he used to give his wealth out to charities, most of his wealth out to charities and he used to say, to the top sharks who visit him, you know, inshallah, we are building a house much

better than this one, with much better furniture than this inshallah. In the meantime, we stay in here. Do you know what he was talking about? paradise, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. We are building a house in Sharla. Much better than this one, with much better furniture than this. And he's This is a statement that came out of his mouth quite a few times. And people didn't really understand they thought maybe he's talking about that, you know, temporarily. He lived there all his life. And what a great man he was. He was in charge of, you know, appointing Imams and so on in the domain and what a beautiful man. So this is the lesson we learn. When we get a little bit we become arrogant, but

there are others whom the more they get, the more they're giving charity. He said, and this is documented that I don't need to live off more than X amount in the month. What am I going to do with more than that? And he used to give it out to charity.

We were to do that one wonders what

Okay, let's not finish the sentence. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us and May He grant us all goodness. This is why when you have a lot in terms of the dunya thank Allah and ask yourself, Am I cleaning towards it? You know, you want more and more and more and more, until the day you die? And guess what the more you have and this is a this is a challenge. This is really a statement go and study the lives of those who have left millions and look at their children today. Go anyone 99% of them their children have had wars and feuds and fights and they hate each other or they've stopped talking to each other because of the wealth their parents have left go and study I this is an open

challenge go and check any community in the world go and have a peep.

So this is why we say 99% of them it's it's caused a big problem the best is to die simple. Look at Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam the best of creation he died he left behind no not nothing.

If there was any goodness in leaving behind things, he would have left behind tons. Yes, there is a hadith which says it's best better to leave behind some wealth for your heirs and so on. But sometimes we amassed so much and in a way that we've forgotten a lot. When we amassed it, we really we ate interest we left our Salah because our business, we forgot our Joomla we did not dress properly because we thought we're gonna have the good deals from the people when we when we have you know, flinging our hair just like they do and so on. So now we want big, big business through these means, voila, he will lie We ask Allah has mercy. And we asked him to forgive us. But when we've

earned wealth through means of those, you know, through that type of means, what do we expect from Allah subhanho wa Taala? It's just a question we need to ask ourselves and remember, there is always room for Toba and is still valid then and repentance. This is why we have talks of this nature, not to Doom us, but to give us the hope to say look, I can repent, I can still turn but let it not be too late because one day when suddenly you have a huge

heart attack and you've gone flesh flesh have have a moment you know, then what happens? Too late. Imagine we have a huge heart attack and we say please can you give me my trouser? But imagine suddenly you drop. This is why you know, I just want to tell you what goes through my head sometimes you know you pass through it going here going there when some people are

You know, we worry about ourselves, we suppose to worry about ourselves much more than anyone else. But sometimes when you're a scholar, when you've got to speak to people, you need to sort of think of examples, you know, in order to try and motivate, and perhaps spiritualize the situation. So sometimes you see a person who's really really not dressed appropriately and you try to think that how can I get a message across to this person? That what if you dropped dead right now in public with those high heels of yours that are probably take closer to heaven than anybody else? What happens Allahu Akbar. And you will try to you want to get a message across to them to say if you

were to drop dead here and now nobody's spelling Doom, but you need to understand it could happen. What are the chances of it even if it's a 1% chance it's too big a percentage for you to risk? May Allah Subhana Allah Allah grant us decency, at least May he keep us people who are of sound values, and you know, morality, and may forgive us look, we all have things to improve. It's not just the outward improvement while it my mothers and sisters are much more important than the outward is the inside. And that is hidden from the eye. Only those we interact with no, this is why when the folks you live with bear witness that you're a good person, you're definitely a good person. Let's

continue. So Allah says, Those who fulfill their Salah are the ones who do good, they will benefit from the Quran, those who give their soccer They are the ones who do good and they will benefit from the Quran. So learn to give you a wealth, learn to give, work out the percentage of Zakat, give it out and on top of that, give out charities. Don't be stingy. You know, don't be niggardly, a person who really does not give.

Learn to divorce yourself from the love of this world to which may come far more than the love of Allah.

That is dangerous. So learn to love Allah first and then love the rest and everything else.

So Allah says, There is another quality of those who do good. Listen to it. Well, whom will authority whom you know, and they are the ones who have faith with certainty in the hereafter.

That's another quality. Close your eyes for a moment and ask yourself, do I have faith with certainty in the hereafter that I'm going to meet Allah, and I'm answerable to him, and he's going to ask me everything.

Do I have that faith?

If I do, how would I be able to engage in that which is bad? And if I ever engage in that which is bad, how would I be able to survive without repainting to Allah? Because if you splash your booklet with lots of repentance, you've got good news Mashallah, it will cover up the evil that you may have done in your life. So Allah says, the people who will benefit from the Quran are those who do good, those who do good, they do not miss a Salah. they fulfill it properly. And they give out charities, they they do not allow their hearts to be overtaken by the love of wealth. And number three,

they believe firmly with conviction in the life after death, the answer the ability to Allah. So then Allah says, Allah, Allahu de Moura been those are the ones who are rightly guided by Allah, they are upon guidance from their Lord. And those are the ones who are the successful. So now you and I can ask ourselves a question

Am I successful? Wow. So first person, we look at

one of the top rich shots in the world. Wow, that person successful. Take a look at this guy so successful. He's got businesses, he's got what he's got vehicles, he's got his private jets, he's got whatever landing strips and whatever. And the helicopters that the people are talking about of late and so on, Allahu Akbar, Allah protect us if that's what you think success is, you have not read the Quran, and the Quran has not helped you. So Allah says, you want to know what we say is the greatest success when you do not miss a Salah when you give out charities to the poor. And when you are fully convinced that you are going to meet with Allah and you have a life after death where you

are answerable for everything. Once you have those three qualities. Definitely you are successful.

So do you miss a prayer in the day? You're not successful? No success. You can have billions you're not successful. Do you? Are you stingy? Are you miserly? Do you cling towards your wealth or to your wealth in a way that you don't even give anything to other people, you don't share anything. You want everything for yourself? Your cupboards are full of clutter, so much clutter that if you had to shift today, perhaps you'd need 20 truckloads of items because the little warehouse at the back is more like a shop but it's not a shop. It's just got all your old antiques in a sentimental value. Forget that sentimental value, give it as a gift to somebody. They will probably make use of it.

You see things from 1930? And granny says no, this thing can go from here. Granny, you will go Allahu Akbar. May Allah protect us.

May Allah protect us really We ask Allah to grant our parents and grandparents Jenna. And to make it easy for them, we might go before them. So if you can divorce the love of the clutter that you have from your heart, you are heading in the right direction. Go home today. Take it all out. Donate it.

Take it all out. I challenge you. Well, I you know, we want cupboards. Have you ever noticed something? You can build a brand new house with so many cupboards in the home? What happens after a while we need more carpets? It's effect. Why didn't we need another storeroom at the back? And another typical thing we need a freezer.

Allahu Akbar why clutter? That's what it is. We want to prepare for the five months in advance. Allahu Akbar. May Allah safeguard us and grant us goodness it's a reality. My mother's and sisters. It's a fact of life. Get rid of things you haven't used for a year, open your cupboards and take that wardrobe. Take those things out of your wardrobe. You know, sometimes we've got a dress that we've just keeping an ally it's a fact I've said it before I want to repeat it because it's something that women relate to. You've got a dress that fitted you when you were 19 you know, and you still got it and every time you look at it, and you think I'm gonna fit in there again

inshallah. inshallah and the way that inshallah goes, and you know that you three times the size, no problems at all, but you keep on looking at it, so Allah May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us and safeguard us and may He make us from those give it away to someone else who's 19 let them enjoy it and say that Auntie was imagined this shape here a long time ago. Subhana Allah, Allah He they they'll make do it for you. Perhaps you might shed something or too low a kebab? The old one goes into the cupboard, you open it, you can see five phones. What are you doing? I've got my photos in the Allahu Akbar. It's typical. I'm giving you reality. This is a fact. So now your photos, transfer them onto a hard drive or something else and Come on, give that phone to someone else who's going to use it. So now I had the latest one. I fear they might use the phone for since I'd rather leave it. Wow. Wow. Look at the excuses. Look at the excuses. My mothers and sisters. It's about time we gave away things we don't use declutter. See how beautiful you feel. Voila. He This is what Allah says is success. You want to be successful? Well you need to learn to share

things and give things you know you have food you have drink, whatever you have. inshallah, I've given you enough examples. It's been a beautiful moment for myself as well because I'm going to go home and inshallah empty out a lot by the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So my brothers and sisters, Allah says Allah Akbar, Allahu de Mira Bhima Yokohama, Mosley hoon. Those are the ones who are upon the guidance from the Arab and those are the ones who are truly successful. Then Allah says, Now this is speaking about music, according to the majority of them have a scene from amongst the Sahaba, the Sahaba of the Allah and whom have said that this verse, verse number six is

referring to music and musical instruments. So Allah says wamena nassima de la de Lille de la de la Hebei really mean, either who's Ooh la la la Hamada boo him

and of mankind is He who purchases idle talk and look at this noble Quran we're using in brackets it says I E, I m means that is music, singing etc. to mislead men from the path of Allah without knowledge and take it which means take the pot takes the path of Allah and the verses of the Quran, by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment in the hellfire. I've just read for you what it says here, because some people say, Oh, it's not music. The word moussaka which is now taken into the Arabic language did not exist at the time of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam it did not exist. So if someone says I want to see the prohibition of music with that word in the Quran,

you tell them you know what, you're not gonna get it. The reason is that word did not exist. moussaka is a term that really came later on it was it was taken, it was muster up meaning taken into the Arabic language, although it was foreign. But there is another narration where in Sahih al Bukhari the prophets of Salaam says a time will come when people will consider what is unlawful, as lawful, and he gave a list of things he started off by saying, Allah will Harris

You know, you may get hold of whoever you are able to get hold of through your voice, and the voice of the devil, clearly the mufa Syrian and the scholars of FC like I say, tafsir is not from my pocket or yours. the voice of the devil? Now why Allah was telling the devil that is because the devil says I'm going to lead people astray. Allah says go and do what you want. And whoever follows you, they will definitely be penalized just like you will. So May Allah protect us. So my mothers and sisters, look at how this is not ironic. Allah speaks in this verse of wisdom, he speaks of success, then he tells us success is achieved by the following things and he speaks of three things, Salah czaka, and believe in the life after death. And then he says, watch out for music. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, did you hear that?

Allah says, The true successful are those who do, who established their Salah, give them a car, and they believe in the life after death, then he says, from amongst people are those who want to divert you through music and beat. So now you you know, you have this beat, somebody asked me on Thursday night about the drum and you know, I showed you how exactly it should be played and so on. But to be honest with you, if you look at the people who are involved in music heavily they are diverted from from these items, then they get diverted very easily and quickly. So this is why it's important for us to no substitute that music with the Quran, the beauty of the Quran, or even with beautiful

energy and a sheet which don't have music in them, that which has beautiful meaning that which is full of, you know, like poetry that has some form of calling towards Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, learn to give up things for the sake of Allah, it will be your ticket to paradise and to give up things for the sake of Allah, it will be your ticket to paradise, learn to give up things for the sake of Allah, it will be your ticket to paradise. So Allah says, Those people who hear this music and they want to sell it and buy it and make a business out of it and they want to lead people astray. They are making a mockery of the Quran. That's what Allah says.

Did you hear that? What did I say moments ago? Allah says this book has guidance for those who do good. You want to be into beat and music. You won't be able to achieve the guidance from this book. That's what Allah is saying. So he says what either truth la la I a tuna. When our verses are read to such a person, one law, Mr. Kabira. He turns away in pride, as if he heard not the verses. So you want to play a beat you want to do this they they quickly, but you want to read the verses of Allah, they turn away, why it doesn't affect them.

Allah says they turn away he turns away with pride in arrogance, as if he heard nothing.

As if they were deafness in his ears.

Allah says so announced to him a painful torment, but she Bashir who be either in a limb, why because he doesn't want to listen to the Quran. He doesn't want to listen to our words. And those words will never ever be a word of words of guidance, because he's involved in something else. It's like a seesaw. The more you have one, the less you have of the other. One goes down, the other one goes up, one goes down, the other one goes up. So you've got more of music and everything in your system. You've got less of the Quran. You've got more of the Koran and the words of Allah and spiritual words. You've got less of music straight.

He has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth, mountains, lest it should shake with you. And he has scattered there in moving living creatures of all kinds. And we send down water or rain from the sky, and we cause plants of every goodly kind to grow there in. This is the creation of Allah. So show me that which those whom you are worshiping besides Allah have created, Nay, the oppresses the wrongdoers. Those who do not believe in the oneness of Allah are in plain error.

Allah makes mention of some of his creatures. Then he says, This is the creation of Allah show me what those besides Allah have created anything. In another verse, he says, lying flu, Baba, Allah,

Allah, they will not create a fly, even if they all get together to achieve that. They will never, this is the creation of Allah. Show me anything that those besides Allah have created. It's a challenge from Allah. Show me that's what Allah says. aroni

Imagine what type of a verse This is. Allah Himself is telling us all show me I want to see, did anyone ever create anything? Besides me?

Nothing. So Allah says, so why are you being deceived? Why are you being so deceived? I created you, I made everything from nothing.

Look at the question. So Allah says calaca some odd, he has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, there are two interpretations of this. One is that there are no pillars holding up the skies, and the other, which is a proper a better interpretation. There are pillars holding up the skies, but you cannot see them. So what are those pillars, evidence of those pillars, they may be pockets of air, but evidence of that is pressure is far higher, when you are lower,

or closer to the ground. Now, if you were to put, for example, a stack of books. Say for example, if you had a book that got weight or something, and you wanted to dry it and straighten its pages, so you put it right at the bottom of a stack of books, right? Where is the point with the highest pressure right at the bottom. And right at the top there is the least pressure because there's something is holding a book after book upon book upon book. So when you have a stack of a where the air has piled up so much, where is that which has the highest pressure, the lowest so we can actually breathe this air because the pressure in the atmosphere of the Earth is correct for us to

breathe. When you go higher. 50,000 feet above sea level. You cannot breathe the air because the pressure is so low.

Allahu Akbar, I hope we understand. So this is why some of them have a ceiling and say there are pockets of air that are holding up the skies. And when you fly in an aircraft, they tell you that there are pockets of a there's turbulence, clear, clear, clear skies, but they tell you turbulence because of the pockets of air and so on. What is all that about? So Allah that's Allah's mercy, and that's his system and style, we may or may not find out a little bit more scientifically about that. But Allah says, We have created the heavens without pillars that you can see because you cannot see the pillars.

And then Allah says we placed mountains, so that they hold down firm, the earth, it doesn't shake. So Allah has placed mountains, in strategic places and so on. May Allah protect us all. Then he speaks about the rain. And he speaks about how the plantation grows, and how everything grows by the mercy of Allah. Then he says, This is the creation of Allah. So show me that which those whom you are worshiping besides Allah have created anything, nothing.

Now I will just start off these verses of surah Luke of the of Luqman la Salatu was Salam or Luqman the wise.

Like we said, He's not a prophet of Allah, but a wise man.

I will start off the verses but next week, we will go through the advice that he's giving his son also powerful advice, that he's given his son so powerful that although he was not a prophet, Allah makes mention of his name. And all that he said to his son or parts of what he said to his son is made mention of here. So Allah says, well, Athena Luqman and Hickman And indeed We bestowed upon Lockman, wisdom, religious understanding, saying,

Give thanks to Allah.

We bestowed in wisdom saying, Give thanks to Allah so that he may thank Allah subhanho wa Taala whenever you've got something good education, anything else you know your good looks, your health, your wealth, your children, your whatever else you might have a nice home, some form of, you know, something great, you've got thank Allah. Allah has given it to you to to test you whether you are thankful or not. So a man and a Salaam says the same thing that Allah has blessed me with so much in order to test me, am I thankful? Or do I show in gratitude, so we need to also learn from that. So Allah says, whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for the good of his own self. You give thanks. You

get to benefit from that thanks, gratitude to allow you to give things establish your Salah, give you a sucker and believe in the life after death, the first three primary items thereafter, everything else.

And whoever is unthankful ungrateful, then verily, Allah is independent, free of all means worthy of praise. Allah is worthy of praise anyway, analyze absolutely independent. Allah doesn't need myself or yourselves and Allah needs nobody. So if you are going to thank Allah, it's going to help you if you don't think Allah, Allah doesn't need that gratitude from you anyway.
