We praise Allah subhanho wa Taala we send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his entire household and all his companions, we ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah to bless them all. And to bless every single one of us and to grant us goodness, brothers and sisters in Islam.

If we were to speak to someone whom we love a lot, I'm sure an hour would pass two hours would pass, and we would still be chatting to them as though only two minutes have passed. And this, I'm sure, we may have experienced. And at the same time, even when we're spending time with them, not just talking to them, spending time with them. We would like to maximise on it so much so that when we are leaving, even if we've been together for perhaps 10 years, but when we are departing perhaps for a week, we might cry, we might say you know we're going to miss you And when are you going to come back and so on. We have Allah subhanho wa Taala he should be the most love to us. And after that

Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and this is something that a Muslim needs to feel when we communicate with Allah subhanho wa Taala we should never feel like a burden. Do you know in Surah Fatiha Allah subhanho wa Taala makes mention of something that happened to Musa alayhi salatu was Salam where when he got the opportunity to talk to Allah subhanho wa Taala he started saying so many things, even though he knew that Allah knows, but because Allah asked him a question, he sees the opportunity to carry on and on and on and on with us with Allah Subhana Allah today we took five minutes longer, Mashallah. And I'm sure there may be from amongst us, people who shape on might have

tried for a moment to say hey, you know what, today these guys took five minutes too long, Allahu Akbar. May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us from those whom when shaytan tries we quickly brushed him off, and we say no, this was for Allah. You know, it wasn't a waste of time. It wasn't a race where we were trying to compete with Schumacher or someone that even a second or a split second would mean a lot here Mashallah. The more the merrier. Those who spend more time actually win the race. Amazing. So Allah says verse number 17 and 18 of Surah Taha wama till gabbiani, Nika Moosa Moses, what is it in your right hand? May peace be upon him? What is it in your right hand? Now, Allah,

Allah knew better than moose, Allah is Allah what it was, but it was an opportunity to talk. It was an opportunity to speak. So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Carla

Brothers and sisters, another very interesting thing about the Prophet Musa alayhis salam, really a diamond and a pearl that we learn from today when we want to correct people sometimes we don't choose the correct words. Sometimes we are hard with our children with others who might tell us something that is correct. We become upset, uptight. And at the same time, we just say a few harsh words you know, the minimum we say just keep quiet. But the person was correct. And

sometimes when we correct people, we tell them in such a harsh tone that we don't understand it actually drives them away from what is right instead of bringing them closer. So this is why

Allah sent the best of the time, who was Musa alayhis salam in his time he was the best. He was the newbie, obviously Mohammed Salah seven has a higher status. But at the time of musala, his Salah, in the midst of the people who were there musala in Salaam had the highest status. So Allah sent him to the worst of the time. In fact, one of the worst of all time that was crowned the Pharaoh, the one who used to say an Arab bucola Allah, I am your hub. Oh people, I am the one who created you made you because of me. You guys are loving. That was his statement. That's how arrogant he was. And he enslaved 1000s of people he killed people at will whatever he wanted to do, he did. And he was a

tyrant. People were fighting him. And Allah sent one man who was the best of the time, to he who was the west of perhaps all time, one of the worst of all time. And yet Allah tells Musa alayhis salam and Harun Allah, he must Allah May peace be upon both of them, Moses and Aaron. Allah says to them, verse number 44, surah, Baja fakuma, who

shall go to him and speak to him with soft words so that he might, he might remember, and he might fear he might understand he might relate to it, it might act as a reminder for him. So Allah says, go and speak to him with soft words. The point being raised today, none of us can be better than Moses May peace be upon him. And nobody we ever want to correct can be worse than Pharaoh.

So how is it or why is it that when we speak to people who are not worse than Pharaoh, yet, and we are not worse, or we are not better than the Prophet Musa alayhis salam, we speak with harsh words, someone better than us, was sent to someone worse than anyone we would meet and still told that go and speak to him nicely with good words kind words, beautiful words, in order that he might just come and turn. We learned from this we need to change the tone we speak well, we need to look into it and improve it. The way we talk to one another, the way we encourage people towards goodness us beautiful encouraging words so that they can come towards Allah subhanho wa Taala happily, so that

they can be conscious of Allah and become from those who have a reminder and understand. So inshallah I hope and I pray we can all learn from this beautiful lesson, that when we teach others when we go out to them, no matter who it is on the globe, you name who you think is the worst, he's not worse than Pharaoh. Remember that? And who ever is going to go to him in our midst or from our myths cannot be better than the Prophet Moses May peace be upon him. And still we need to speak to them with good words, humility, humbleness, tell them look, this is what is right. Come my brother's You know, this is Allah He has created you and come towards him. And Allah subhanho wa Taala warns

all of us about what might happen or what would happen to those who turned away from the instruction on the Day of Judgment. So Allah says verse number 124, and the two verses after it, have the same sort of Baha woman

so Allah says regarding these eyes, verse number 131, something totally different but connected to the eye while

do not stretch your eyes towards those things we have given others, the blessings that we have given others that you may not have, don't stretch your eyes towards that which we might have given others in terms of material wealth, and that which is the beautification of this world. We are testing them through that. Remember this, may Allah subhanho wa Taala not make us from those who become upset? Because not because we don't have things but because we look at others who have a little bit more and we feel depressed. This is why What does Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam teach us? He says, if you want to appreciate what you have, look at those who have less. If you look at those who have less,

you will appreciate it. You don't have shoes, look at those who have no feet. Next, Allahu Akbar. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness, may Allah bless us. You don't have, for example, a beautiful, maybe lay tablecloth of whatever you can think of in the month of Ramadan. Look at those who don't have anything. I read an article not very long ago, when a brother asked a fatwa from Somalia, saying chef is our fast accepted if we don't have anything to break the fast upon, and we continue without food for a few days.

Look at us no matter what. In this part of the world. You can throw a seed by mistake in your yard and believe me, the tomatoes will grow. Do you know that that's how blessed we are? May Allah subhanahu wa tada make us grateful. But I want to mention one more thing. When it comes to acts of worship. Always look at those who are engaging in more than you then you develop so materialistic life, look at those who have less than you, you appreciate acts of worship, look at those who are higher than you and you elevate May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness, the next surah is named after the prophets, Gambia the messengers of Allah subhanho wa Taala and Allah subhanho wa

Taala opens that surah with a powerful reminder, a Katara ballin,

in less than an

hour, indeed the hour of reckoning the hour of accounts, meaning the end of time is very close for man. Yet he is in Oblivion, he is turning away in forgetfulness, totally oblivious of this day. So Allah says Your time is very near, but you are forgetting it, you don't even know May Allah subhanho wa Taala take us away in a condition that really would be a means of our entry in paradise such as the condition of such that my brothers and sisters, it's very important that we worry about every moment being our last moment, especially when we are engaging in something we're not supposed to be engaging in, Think for a moment what if I die in this condition? That should stop you from doing

what you're about to do? May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us a good day. So Allah says, and whenever,

whenever a message came to them from their job, and it was repeated, then what did they do?

They heard it. Yes, indeed. But while they were playing, they didn't take it seriously. When messages from Allah came to them, they heard them once they were playing, they did not take the message seriously, let us not be from amongst those we have a lot to learn. Let's be from amongst those when the message comes to you directly. You say Allah helped me to fulfill this, I am human, I find it a little bit difficult sometimes to do certain things. But you make me strong make me from amongst those who can improve on a daily basis. While it would be really such happy people if we did that. So Allah subhanho wa Taala declares his greatness and he declares the answerability of men to

him by saying in verse number 24, or pseudocode, ambia law use,

if

he is not answerable at all to anyone, he is not even questionable. Nobody can question a law regarding what he does. But they meaning all of us are answerable for everything they do. Allah will ask them, and they have to produce an answer. So if we think of this, and we become conscious of it, we become better people. Do you know, I was thinking to myself, when we write a book, The other day, we made mention of how important it is to author your own book well, so that you're going to present it on the Day of Judgment. And you had also read yourself, make sure it's a good book well written. If you are an author, and some of you might be you

write a paragraph, read it again, check it again, read it out, check, see, send it to someone to edit and come back and make sure that everything is okay. Let's give you an example of Twitter and Facebook. When you want to say something, you look at it, you type it out, you read it again, you make sure the words are right, you might want to change something, stop it maybe delayed for tomorrow. If you're not sure how to word it, then you press send, and the whole world has the message SubhanAllah. Why? Because you don't want them to read something wrong. You don't want to get someone misunderstanding what you're trying to say. Are you worried about what people will think

perhaps of the message or even of you? May Allah protect us? Why then don't we think for a split moment? That everything I do I have to answer to Allah subhanho wa Taala? Can't I just prepare it properly before you utter before you talk before you do things, think of it twice, thrice, adjust it a little bit here or there. And then finally, do the deed or finally say the word May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us more conscious of it. It takes a little bit of time, but it's possible.

But it takes a lot of dedication. You need to be a dedicated person because even though it might take a split second for you to think if you're not dedicated, you're not going to achieve this. So every time if you want happiness in this world, continue remembering and reminding yourself that I'm answerable to Allah, my thoughts are answerable to Allah so when a bad thought comes in, you got to say,

and believe me, if you have planned to do something wrong, and you stay away from it, because you're worried about answering Allah subhanho wa Taala he writes a reward next to your name.

Because definitely, it's a reward when you wanted to do something wrong and you stayed away from it. May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us and grant us goodness, this is why verse number 47 and these verses are all interconnected. One

I losses and the scales of justice are set, obviously on the Day of Judgment, they will be scales weighing our deeds, how they will be weighed, Allah knows best but we know there will be a scale good deeds and bad deeds. And the beauty is, Allah will bring forth every single deed even if it is the weight of a mustard seed, Allah will bring it forth. And Allah says we are sufficient as those who take account enough. But you know, what is the good news?

When a person's good deeds outweigh the bad deeds, Allah subhanho wa Taala will forgive him and grant him entry into paradise.

But when a person's bad deeds outweigh the good deeds, then Allah alone knows whether he wants to forgive them through His mercy or assist them to earn the intercession of a person or two, Allahu Akbar perhaps Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam in our case May Allah grant us that intercession.

But Allah decision, Allah subhanho wa Taala may decide to forgive them or he may decide to penalize them. May Allah subhanho wa Taala not do that to us may we be from amongst those whose good deeds are plentiful, and bad deeds are very little and full of repentance. Remember one thing, there are certain deeds that we think alike on the scale, but they are very heavy. Some of the words in declaration of the praise of Allah Subhana Allah He will become de Subhana Allah and Avi in the declaration of the praise of Allah subhanho wa Taala by mouth and with your heart and with the concentration of your mind. These are so powerful that the Hadith says they are very heavy on the

scale, yet someone might consider it light, very light. And on the other hand, when we backbite when we slander, those are some of the heaviest sins you could ever have.

What is worse than that is, obviously, people take lightly the issue of backbiting, the issue of slandering, the issue of gossiping, rumor spreading, and so on. This is detrimental. These are so heavy that they bog us down in the dunya as well as in the al Qaeda. May Allah subhanho wa Taala Forgive us, so we need to become conscious of it.

Now we want to speak of the power of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And how he showed it he made it manifest in more than one place with his friends, those whom he loves, those whom he has chosen may choose us as well.

Look, Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks of a young boy, Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. His story is repeated so many times in the Quran. And Allah subhanho wa Taala says beautifully, that when he declared that he will worship none but Allah. Then Allah says we tested him. He spoke to his father, his father and then retaliated they What did they do? They told him we will burn listen to what the community said.

This is episode number 68 of surah. Colombia where Allah subhanho wa Taala says, they said to us that why don't you burn the son of yours, burn him. And they are looking at him and they thought to themselves, to assist our gods we sent this man into the fire, but indeed the owner of that fire has come to the assistance of this young man. So hard Allah, Allah subhanho wa Taala. This has happened more than once in the life of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. When he surrendered to Allah, Allah came to his house and Allah assisted him in a miraculous way. You know, when that knife

was driven, in a certain place where he was about to sacrifice his child for Allah subhanho wa Taala, the creator of the sharpness of the knife, instructed it to become blunt.

Imagine Allahu Akbar, may Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us from his mercy. So the point being raised here is when we become close to Allah, He shows us miracles in our lives, he opens our doors, but we need dedication, perseverance, persistence upon goodness, sometimes with us, and this is a reality I'm repeating it perhaps for the fourth or fifth time in this month.

We call out to Allah for five minutes and then we get agitated, irritated, we lose hope. When we start saying I called out to Allah, the answer is not coming. But relax the people, Allah the messengers, who are chosen by Allah, they call out for much longer inshallah we see this now in verse number 86. Allah says, One who is nada. Remember Noah May peace be upon him. When he called out to us, he called out to us, he cried to ask we saved him, we saved him and we saved those who believe with him. And then address number 80. Allah says, What are you by now that the prophet Job May peace be upon him? Are you been in salatu salam, remember, when he called out to us? He cried to

us. We tested him with so much we took away his children, we took away his house and his wealth and so many things went and one by one, he cried to us for such a long time we responded to him. These are the chosen ones of Allah. Then Allah says verse number 87. While loony speaking about the prophet Jonah Yunus May peace be upon him, he had a mohawk.

Allah makes mention of how he went away, upset and he thought Allah would not catch him for that meeting. He thought that perhaps he would not be facing the answer the ability to Allah subhanho wa Taala because of his action, when he called out to Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah says the words he used was so beautiful, so beautiful, we responded to his call, let me spend a minute as to how beautiful those words were.

The Prophet Yunus he was known as minalima Sabine, which means he used to engage in tests be regularly Subhana, Allah Alhamdulillah, Allah Akbar, on a daily basis and every night, in the darkness of the night, he would always be praising Allah. So he had a lot of peace and calmness, tranquility from Allah subhanho wa Taala. His people did not treat him well. So he decided, let me just go away. So Allah subhanho wa Taala wanted to show him the power of Allah. So he went into this boat and what happened happened, there is a long story, we're not going to go into it, he ended up in a way

and that were in the darkness of the night in the darkness of the depths of the sea was with this great messenger of Allah in its belly.

And this man is in this way, how Allah knows. And in there, he called out in such a beautiful way. Do you know when you want things when I want things, sometimes we don't know how to say, we know what we want, but maybe we can't communicate it so well because our words are not that grand. Sometimes we can't articulate it. So we just have to say Allah, my heart, you know what's in the eye like getting to the nose? Well, he knows it. And Allah understood that he is regretful, he is remorseful. He wants something he wants to be saved. It is reported that the angels heard the voice. Why do they hear the voice so quick? They said, Oh Allah, according to one of the narrations.

This is a voice we hear every day praising you and we carry up to you the words of praise to you from this person. And today he is the same voice is calling but from a totally different place in the darkness of the ocean, in the darkness of the belly of the whale. Allah says we will respond to him in no time he was out by the will of Allah Subhana Allah.

What are the chances of us being eaten by a whale and coming out a few days later our life love Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us and grant us ease and goodness with us. Even in a shark bites us Allah here we have a problem. Allah subhanho wa Taala not make from amongst us sharks in human skin. Love.

Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness and open our doors. So Allah says this universe called out to us. He cried to us really with his need. He cried. Are we ready to cry with our needs? How do we call out to Allah? Do we read to him? Do we explain our love to him? We firstly need to declare the greatness of Allah declare the inability of our own selves. And then we declare that Allah subhanho wa Taala is most forgiving. So we are asking for forgiveness for whatever we've done. So we've cleaned our slate, and we come onto the page. We declare blessings and salutations upon Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam being the messenger who's who was sent to us the best of creation, then we cry, we

praise Allah and we praise Him more, and we praise Him more, and we praise him so much, then we put our little need that Yala, this is what I want. That is one of the ways of doing it. And before we end that, let's remember to send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, for indeed that is the way taught to us by Him. May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us and grant us goodness and ease. So in verse number 89, Allah says, was that Gary?

Nada, and remember when zaccaria called out to us, he didn't have children did he? And he was of old age, so was his wife, something virtually impossible. Allah, we responded to them, we gave them we know when the time is right, and we gave it to them exactly as we know was best. These are the best of creatures. So Allah says, They are the ones who called out to us hoping and in fear, they hope for our mercy and they fear off May Allah make us from amongst those who can call out we all have means like we always say Allah puts us in need in order for us to cry out to Allah subhanho wa Taala now let's make mention of another thing in the next surah so what will happen so what will happen is a beautiful Torah I call on you to read the meanings of this particular surah I have found the translation of the Quran called Sahih

International, quite a bit an easy translation to follow with simple language that me and you use, you know, without the vowels and so on, you know, the the language of aforetime Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us. It's simple language, and it's very easy to follow. So I asked you to read it because it's a beautiful sutra, we just want to extract a few points from it. Point number one, do you know in that surah Allah makes mention of all his creatures, prostrate to him, all of them. And if you don't you just the odd one out. Allah protect us listen to what Allah subhana wa Taala says, I want to cite the verse because if I do, we will all have to prostrate right here and right now,

but the meaning of it, do you not see

that for Allah prostrates whoever is in the skies and on Earth, plus the sun and the moon and the stars and the mountains and the trees and all moving creatures and many people, prostrate to Allah, but there are some whom the punishment shall be over or shall overtake. They are the ones who refuse. So Allah says you look at the trees they prostrate

To look at the mountains, they prostrate to us, the sun and the stars they prostrate to us anything moving frustrates to us and a lot of men, but some human beings they refuse they are the odd ones out the question I have, like we've always said, if you haven't read Salah there are a million others who have perhaps more, you're the odd one out. If you haven't read the billions who've read it you the odd one out, if you haven't fulfilled your acid, all your money, but one of your Salawat there are billions of others who are doing it. And not only that, the creatures around you do it as well. The ground underneath you does it as well.

In a way that Allah Allah knows, but Allah subhanho wa Taala is asking us a question, what are you prepared to do? Are you going to be the odd one out are you going to join everybody else? Now Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala gives the example of the fly, to explain how weak men is and still man wants to transgress against Allah. In verse number 73 of the same surah Allah says,

Allah O people, an example has been given. So listen to it. in Medina.

Allah those whom you call out to as Gods besides Allah, they cannot create a fly even if they all get together in order to try to create a fly.

Imagine what Allah is saying a fly something considered an irritating creature. A fly irritates really. And Allah says they can't even create a fly. Even if they all get together and want to create it. Then Allah says no, we want to show you what they cannot do what he

has to mean. Even if the fly takes something away from them, they can never ever get it back from that fly, even if the whole gather to try and get it back. This is a love chasing you. I am so great yet but

both are weak, the pursuer and that which is pursued.

So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, ma de la

first number 74 indeed they have not understood the status of Allah correctly.

They have not assessed Allah subhanho wa Taala has value and power and his status with the correct assessment. May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless us all in Allaha
