We also ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah to accept from us the fasts that we have engaged in, as well as the standing in Salah as well as the recitation of the Quran as well as the listening of the Quran. Because at times it may be based on minority and at times it may be based on what none of the people have said, for as long as he has considered absolutely everything. And for as long as he has heard it sincerely. That is what is of essence, we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to grant us true leadership in this oma because the Quran also says that if we

were to follow majority all the time, they would lead us completely astray from the deen. Today, if you look at the globe, if you were to have a vote as to what is the right religion, the majority will not tell you Islam. So if majority had to rule, then we would all be outvoted May Allah Subhana Allah, Allah grant us all a deeper understanding of Islam and of the Sharia.

And the Quran speaks about the movement of the sun. And later on some decades after science said no, the sun does move but very little. The Quran didn't speak about how much it moves but it spoke about the fact that it moves. This is just one simple example. Another important point is, we need to ask ourselves how much time have I spent studying secular education, which is not going to take me beyond the age of 60, or 65. to word

May Allah subhanho wa Taala not overtake our health by sickness. And may He make us from those whom even if it were to be overtaken, we would not regret how we used our good health May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us use it in a correct manner. May He grant all those who are ill Shiva, May He grant them cure, he is the owner of it. So Allah subhanho wa Taala says

thereafter, that it is very possible for Allah, it is possible for Allah to make everyone rich and to give everyone everything. But what would happen

if every one of us were multi billionaires, then do you know another Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam very beautifully worded, he says that people they go out to earn sustenance. And they sometimes feel if I have so much, it will be enough. When they reach that target, the target suddenly shifts, and it shifts and it goes greater and greater. Nothing satisfies them until they have so much that they don't need, it's no longer about going out to get the wealth, it's now about competing with one another for that wealth. So now once you become a millionaire, you now ask yourself, how many millions and that one's got 20 million, I've got 15 I need to beat him.

Then when we get to 25 and 30. And nobody can touch us. It then goes beyond the issue of wealth to the issue of control. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us. This is why wealth is a gift. As I said, Imagine if everybody were millionaires, today there would be lots of killing on earth because people would want to prove that I have this and that power and I can fix you and I can do this and do that. the views. When you are embarking on something important in life. It's very important to listen to the views of those around you it's a sign of a good Muslim. And they are after the decision is obviously made by the one who is the decider. They're the one who is consulting May Allah subhanahu, Allah grant us goodness. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about another quality.

However, whoever is going to forgive and reconcile their reward will be with Allah, both in the dunya as well as in the alpha, what is meant by this?

Sometimes in life, people do wrong to us. And we want our rights. So we say, right, what's the right what's my rights, I need to know my rights. I want to this and that sometimes, in the fight for rights, we lose sleep, we lose this, we lose that our lives become missed, and we have no contentment, nothing at all. And nobody's ever going to stand up for the rights that we are owed, and so on. And even if we want to stand up and fight like everybody encourages us to stand up for your rights and fight and so on, your life becomes a misery in the sense that you are fighting every day all day, it might be your rights, but that will become an equality. Allah says, if you want to

go one step higher, though it is your right to retaliate, it is better for you to forgive and reconcile. It will be much easier for you so panela much easier for you. This is why Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he used to forgive. And he used to forgive those who who this meaning who disrespected him, to a degree that nobody today can they through now to be law, the dirtiest of defecation on him, Allah, may Allah protect us all. And yet he forgave them. There was a lady in Mecca who used to throw all the dirt on him. And every time he passed the gully, she used to throw the dirt on him. And one day, it didn't come. It didn't come in when she used to throw it needs to

go clean his clothing and so on. And he carried on he ignored it. One day didn't come. So he turned back and he knocked at the door. And he the lady called from the end and he went in and says, Oh my dear mother, this is Muhammad. sallallahu alayhi wasallam I pass here every day and you throw this little gift in my direction. Today didn't come Are you okay? Is everything fine? Are you sick? Can I do something for you? She accepted Islam Subhana Allah she she was speechless. completely gone. almost every year of and I'm going to repeat it.

The story of three great saints who were in a Masjid sitting in Attica, they were sitting and there was one man who was told that, look, these are three great saints, this one who is still young, the other one is even a greatest saint. And the other one on the far end is the greatest saints. They concentrate in their acts of worship to the degree that they won't even notice you. They won't notice you. So this man says a young boy, you know, he was one of those who wanted to test these scholars or these saints. He walked in and he tried the first one, he greeted him Salaam Alaikum. And that this man didn't hear and he was busy with his other car, whatever he was doing, he was busy

with it. So this young boy, he thought to himself, he says, No, this man is a saint. He's very busy. He didn't even notice I'm here. He walked around him a little bit. He walked around him. The man didn't even flinch nothing. And he says he's a saint. So he went to the next one. I was told this one is a bigger saint. So what he did salaam aleikum, he walked around him. And he gave him one clap. Imagine a clap. The Saint was still sitting. A split moment later, he looked up and says, Are you okay? How's your hand? Did you get hurt? The Saint is asking the man, how's your hand? Did you get hit? The man is saying, Hey, this is the same for sure. This is a St. He's asking me if my hand

is okay. Okay. The man says no, don't worry, everything is okay. So he was it confirmed to him that this man is a saint. So he went up to the third St. And he went up to the third St. And he was very happy. He says, Now I wonder what's going to happen here. You'll probably take out some cash and give it to me when one is so he came up and he gave this man one slap on the face. The man got up and gave him two slaps. So this man says but I thought you were the biggest saint he said, Well, someone needs to stop you. lacava so this is something we learn that when people miss interpret our forgiveness of them as a weakness. That is when you stand up. May Allah subhanahu Allah grant us all

goodness, really, it is something we need to ponder over. And we need to strike the correct balance between forgiveness and standing up for our own rights. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us I know there must be so many sisters listening to us this evening saying yes, our husbands do this and do that. And we've got this right and that right? May Allah subhanahu wa taala opened the doors for them and I am calling on all the husbands seated here. Let us revisit the link we have with our spouses. In the sense let us try and effect positive change in our relation. Let us try and understand they are somebody whose daughters as well. They have come under our guardianship, Allah

who we owe them a lot. And the same applies to the women folk a call, let us revisit the link we have with our husbands May Allah subhana wa Taala grant prosperity in the Muslim homes, we make the dua today, remember, to solve a problem give and take, we need to give and take you we need to compromise we cannot be very heavy and hard. Otherwise the relation will snap. We need to understand there is a given take on both sides.
