these lessons were life changing.

And for some, unfortunately, these lessons went unnoticed

and won't have much impact on them. May Allah subhanaw taala

protect you and me from being of those people having trouble on me.

Today I want to discuss with you a topic that I believe we need to continue to discuss.

Because it has to do with what may be the most

critical,

most precious,

yet most destructive

gifts that we have

most critical,

most precious,

yet

it can be the most destructive

blessing

or privilege or wherever else you want to call it.

A privilege many people

fought for some continue to fight for many died for

privileged, many were given without even having to pay for it

a privilege

without which life

will be

as good as

not having it as good as non existence that privileges liberty or freedom or whatever else you want to call it.

Many people celebrated without

having it. They think they have it but they don't have it.

Have the illusion of liberty. So I intend to end this course by maybe in the coming couple of portables to address this issue and talk about it and share some thoughts about it.

You know, some may say that the greatest of all three

drums is freedom of choice.

And depending on what they mean, by freedom, because freedom means different things to different people. And depending on what they mean by choice, because choice means different things to different people.

I may agree or disagree, but

just simply by looking at that statement, I personally tend to disagree with it.

I believe the greatest of all freedoms, is the freedom to think

and believe.

Because no one can limit that.

No one can control it.

No one can really force you to think or believe in a way that you don't

submit to,

or agree with,

they may be able to do something physically to you, nobody can really get into your heart or into your mind, intellect, this great

gift that we have.

And yet, in spite of it being the greatest of all freedoms,

and the greatest of all gifts and privileges, it is the most destructive of all of them.

If it's not appreciated, if it's not properly handled,

and intellect, or this, the ability to think and believe, and conclude and reason,

this whole process.

What is unique about it is

it has the ability, or it can only control itself.

So you can, you're the only one who can control how you think,

and what you think about and to what extent do you think about it,

nobody else can do that for you.

Nobody else can limit that. So at the end of the day,

whatever choices and that's why I think choice is

a result of it. Whatever choices you end up making, you're going to be responsible for, and you can't blame anyone for it, not even Allah Subhana Allah to Allah. And you can't definitely blame other because Allah, as he just says, couldn't do left sim Bina. But

every soul

is bound by what it earns, and what you earn as a choice.

And that choice comes out of a belief.

Now

this may be the greatest of all freedoms or liberties. But what is liberty in and of itself?

What is Liberty? How is it defined in the dictionary, you will find that you'll find this definition, because some people think, liberty, freedom to think that means I will just rebel. I will go against everything.

That's with due respect, stupidity, not freedom, to think

if you go against everything, every single norm, every single rule every single,

that's this kind of rebellion, that's not freedom.

So what is Liberty? So it's defined as a state of being free, within a society, I mean, this is a political definition of it,

oppressive restrictions, imposed by authority.

This is problematic

by authority, all of a sudden author if the legitimate authority then has the authority to impose restrictions,

but the key word here is oppressive.

So in order for us to understand freedom or liberty, we have to understand oppression.

See where or who is capable of.

So that we would seek our independence and our freedom and our liberties

and see who is not capable

of them or will not do will, who is committed to not

bringing upon us or oppression who is not oppressive and committing ourselves ourselves to

that being.

So what is low volume brothers and sisters, some scholars

define it as poor

if you can't hide from a large region, you might want to consider to get out of the world or a place that belongs to Allah, you might want to seek a place that does not belong to allies. You can be in someone's face, or someone's Kingdom or someone's, and then offend them while they're watching you. So seek a place

where am I going to go? Everything belongs from lots of hands down, including me, this very body in which all by which, which one of us, offends a lot. Some had our commits a sin belongs to our lives. Not only that, but Allah tells us that it was testify against him, so I can't.

So you can't get out of the Kingdom of Allah, you can't go somewhere where Allah subhanaw taala doesn't see you think, you know, then he said, Okay, then do not use the risk of Allah don't consume anything that Allah Subhana Allah.

He can't consume a loss of habitat assessment. You can't take the sustenance and the blessings of God and then a phenom. So

like, that's not possible either.

I have your freedom

So this is one point, point number two. You see the reason

enslaving ones or subjugating one's self to Allah Subhana. Allah to Allah is the ultimate freedom My dear brothers and sisters.

Because Allah azza wa jal doesn't need us. He doesn't need any of the things that he asked us to do. We're doing them for ourselves. You see, people are slave one another, we slave ourselves.

We become the slaves of our whims and desires. Because we have needs and deficiencies. People will save us employers enslave us big corporations enslave us. Governments enslave us tyrants enslave us.

Right. People have different

you know, people who think they're superior to others, they try to enslave and control other people, right family and slave one another.

Because we have nice deficiency, we need somebody to do some service do things for us and we need to control but Allah subhanaw taala doesn't need any of it.

And that's the very reason for which he gave you freedom. He gave you free will.

You know, the angels realize the potential of free will and they said oh, otherwise

it's going to be destructive. This free will is going to cause them because angels don't have free will like we do.

issue that some scholars debate but generally speaking, the general belief is that angels don't have same free will that we have.

Try to mature, try to see the beauty in whatever Allah Subhana Allah examines, be yourself be true to yourself. Worry about what Allah Subhana Allah knows about you and not what people how people perceive you or what people think of you.

Now, while you still have to have higher and you have to have consideration for people's feelings and have courtesy, but overall generally speaking, that's not what determines your direction or your choices or your lifestyle.

What determines your lifestyle? Your choices are what pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala what Allah wants from me what Allah, you know, intends for you what purpose Allah has brought you to this life for.
