I wanted to
share something with the Quran from the book of Allah, it is the month of Ramadan. These are the last nights of the month of Ramadan. So talking from the book of Allah talking from the Quran is extremely appropriate. And so inshallah that's what we're going to do today.
What I talked about initially might, it's a very powerful story that is told to us from the Quran, it'll be, you'll have to kind of pay attention at least initially, so that you understand what we're talking about and where we're talking from. But inshallah, once we're able to kind of place it within the timeline, it'll start to make a lot of sense.
So Musa alayhis, salam, we all know who Musa alayhis salam is, Musa alayhis salam is a great Prophet and the great messenger of Allah, a great messenger of God. If you told people that I work 810 hours a day, and it is 100 degrees these days outside, and I'm not going to drink water for 16 hours. What would what would a normal person who's not familiar with the practice of fasting, what would they tell you? That's extremely harmful, you're going to harm yourself. But we know how extremely beneficial it is.
And sometimes it seems like well, this would be very, very beneficial for me.
But it could turn out to be a great source of harm. And so Allah subhanaw taala is the one who controls whether it'd be good or bad, the outcome of anything and everything. And the stories of the profits are profound examples of a bad situation, turning into the greatest blessing in someone's life.
And sometimes, some people apparently on the surface, seeming like they're very extremely blessed, but that turning out to be the greatest curse for them. musala Hassan one moment came in his life, where he's standing with his followers. And sometimes there will be very overwhelming odds stacked against you. And here in a lecture format, it's very easy for me to say, Don't even hesitate for a second, you are on the truth on the hoc. Don't be afraid. That's very easy for me to say in a lecture. But when you're in that moment, you hesitate for a second, you seize up for a little bit. Just a moment, even though you're doing what's right. You know what you're doing is right. But there's just a little bit of apprehension.

The reason why I wanted to talk about this passage of the Quran in this story

the circumstance, the spiritual situation of a lot of people in our community.

What do you do? Because we're gonna be faced with all the same challenges all over again.
When we go back to school,
go back to work, go back to our lives. we're faced with all these challenges. There's a lot of complicated stuff out there to figure out.
There's a lot of confusion that a lot of people deal with. What do you do? What do I do?
I can't make sense of everything. I don't have the answers to everything. A lot of people come to us and they talk to us about that type of stuff. Like I don't know what to do with this. I don't know what to do that. What am I supposed to do with this? What am I supposed to do with that? It can be very overwhelming. It can be crippling, spiritually crippling. So you feel you have some momentum and then you hit that brick wall and then you just don't know where to go from there.

So they did whatever they could do.
They fell straight into such data. Maybe, you know, maybe not some of them weren't following the fit of sujood properly. We have to touch your nose and your forehead.
You know, we don't know those details a lot didn't address those details. Why? Because it's irrelevant. They did what they could do. They do. They did what they knew.
How to do.
And Allah says if somebody in that moment of adversity and difficulty will seize the opportunity and do whatever it is that they know how to do, even if it just simply be to raise my hands and just say Allah please.

Allah says, Allah will increase them and guidance. Allah will teach them what to do.
Allah will teach them what to do and give them the ability to do what they need to do. What or whom taqwa whom Allah will give them their taqwa.

If we can learn to respect Allah, respect the Quran, respect the Prophet of Allah, that's a huge step in the right direction. And then secondly, just do whatever it is that you know how to do. start somewhere, take a step in the right direction, where it goes from there, let Allah subhanaw taala take care of you from there.
May Allah subhanaw taala give us the ability to practice everything that was said and heard.
